Rethink investment in partnership with University Student’s Association Ghana(USAG), University of Ghana Student’s Representatives Council (UGSRC), University of Ghana Business School( UGBS), and Umb investment holdings on Thursday 10th March 2022 organized a program Financial Literacy and Accountability Summit 2022 dubbed FINANCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY: AN INTEGRAL PART OF AN ADMINISTRATION TO ENHANCE TRANSPARENCY at the R.S Amegashie Conference Hall Legon.
The Summit saw some dignitaries in finance namely, Hon. John Ampontuah Kumah( Deputy Finance Minister), Prof. Godfred Bokpin (Dean of Student Affairs; UG, Economist & Professor in Finance), Hon. Vincent Ekow (MP for Old Tafo), Mr. Yaw Saifa (UMB Investment Holdings & Vice President of Pensions & Institutional Fund Management), Mr. Franklin Ofori Kakari (Dir. Of Support and policy; NEIP), and Mr. John Ofori the CEO of Rethink Investment.
Mr. Franklin Ofori Kakari as Chairman of the occasion used that medium to advise students in taking advantage of programs of this kind and also the government youth startups. The Summit was aimed at educating students about financial independence how that can be achieved.
More than 1,000 students from far and near trooped into the R.S Amegashie Conference Hall to listen to financial guidelines and directions from the speakers.

This was an eye opening conference that equipped me with financial knowledge in my quest to climb the leadership ladder. I believe we need more of these seminars to groom the youth on how to build lasting financial freedom as it is a necessity
